Before and 3 months after a primary cosmetic and functional rhinoplasty to address a crooked nose, dorsal hump, and her breathing. Even though her nose is smaller, her breathing is much improved. By using cartilage from the septum, I created a better functioning, prettier nose. Before the nose drew attention away from her beautiful features, and now her other features can shine ✨ She will continue to see more definition in the tip of the nose as swelling continues to go down over the course of a year.

Rhinoplasty for a crooked nose is one of the more challenging aspects of rhinoplasty surgery. There are so many factors that contribute to a crooked nose including the underlying bony and cartilage structure, the overlying skin thickness, and any prior trauma. Here, this patient is seen just 1 month after rhinoplasty surgery. The nose is definitely still swollen, but you can already see how much straighter the nose is on the right.
