WHAT IS A RHINOPLASTY?
A rhinoplasty, or “nose job”, is a surgical procedure used to change either the shape and/or function of the nose.
WHAT IS A SEPTOPLASTY?
A septoplasty is a surgical procedure that straightens the septum (the divider that separates the two sides of the nose). It is almost always performed as part of a rhinoplasty, but can be performed alone if a deviated septum is the reason for obstructed nasal breathing. Because Dr. Rogal’s training is in otolaryngology (ear, nose, & throat), she is uniquely qualified to treat all aspects of the nose.
I CAN’T BREATHE WELL FROM MY NOSE.
Someone may have told you that you have a deviated septum. A deviated septum can cause decreased airflow on one side of the nose, leading to difficulty breathing. While this is one consideration, there are other reasons that may contribute to your difficulty breathing. These factors can be addressed at the time of your first appointment.
I DON’T LIKE THE WAY MY NOSE LOOKS.
You may be concerned with a bump or how big your nose looks. Perhaps you don’t like the way it looks when you smile, or when you are photographed. These are all valid and common concerns voiced by patients. A cosmetic rhinoplasty may be a good option to consider. At your consultation, you will discuss what aspects of your nose you do not like. Dr. Rogal will then create a virtual drawing of what you can realistically expect from your rhinoplasty.

WHAT IS A NONSURGICAL RHINOPLASTY?
A nonsurgical rhinoplasty is a minimally invasive procedure that involves injecting fillers to contour the nose to look more aesthetically pleasing. This is a procedure that takes approximately 5-10 minutes in the office, and lasts for approximately 9-12 months. It is a great option for patients who do not want to have surgery, but want to make small changes to the appearance of their nose.
