FACELIFT
What is a facelift?
A facelift, or a rhytidectomy, is a surgical procedure that reduces jowling, straightens the jawline, and tightens the neck. There are many ways to perform a facelift, but Dr. Rogal believes that a deep plane facelift produces the best and most natural results. Dr. Rogal will focus on making you look younger and refreshed, in a refined and subtle manner. A facelift is a durable procedure that will last approximately 8-10 years.
How long will it take to recover?
Visible bruising usually resolves within 1-2 weeks. Most patients typically feel comfortable going back to work or being in social settings 2 weeks following a facelift. However, the final result will typically be seen at about 1 year.
Is a facelift painful?
Most patients report that they have little to no pain following a facelift.

What is a nonsurgical (liquid) facelift?
A nonsurgical or liquid facelift, simply refers to facial rejuvenation with injectables rather than surgery. While the results are not as durable and effective as a traditional surgical facelift, a nonsurgical facelift may be a great option for younger patients or patients not interested in surgery. Dr. Rogal will analyze your unique facial features to determine which areas would be best served by injectables. This type of procedure typically involves using multiple syringes to achieve the desired result. Learn more about nonsurgical facial rejuvenation here.
