There are so many factors that contribute to a crooked nose including the underlying bony and cartilage structure, the overlying skin thickness, and any prior trauma. Here, this patient is seen just 1 month after rhinoplasty surgery. The nose is definitely still swollen, but you can already see how much straighter the nose is on the right.
